Theorganizer’s purpose of the biennale is not only positioning in an internationalcompetition, it also considers the link between education and design, and focuson the unique design culture in Mexico; the main route is the dissemination ofcontemporary aesthetics and creativeness. Its impact is the development anddirection of Iconographic and helps the degree of identifiability and extendingof Mexican visual culture. For example, in 1997, the internationally renowneddesign school, Universidad Veracruzana, was invited to cooperatively promoteMexican design culture. In 2012, the exhibition, "A Tribute to Poster andtheir Authors”, had been organized, selecting the most classic 60 posters inthe history of poster design during 16th century to 21st century which wererefreshed and output in one size by HP company for the exhibition. The previous postersof International Biennale of Poster in Mexico obviously expressed the ambitionsand the intentions of the openness of issues for many years. Under theinfluence of globalization, the advance of technology and the graduallydiminishing of the boundaries or borders have resulted that the distances amongborders have been no longer relative relationships among geographic locations.Relatively, a disaster of a country also affects the whole world. The issue ofbiodiversity (table 1), food, energy, or climate warming (table 2), humanrights (Table 3) and the issues of cultural diversity, the gap between rich andpoor, etc. are affecting everyone living in the global village including youand me. Poster design can fast response design results, and design is thecrystallization of sociological observation, is the comprehensivelyphenomenological inference with known results. The successive evolutionarychanges of international issues can be peeped through the previous posters ofthe International Biennale of Poster in Mexico. Wish the media of posters canalso inspire social interests, and become a tool for transmission of culturaltrends and political themes of the society, as well as for commercial purposes.
